About The Position

At ViaQuest Residential Services, we provide quality support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. This part-time position requires weekend availability, specifically every other weekend from 7 AM to 7 PM. The role involves providing direct care, medication administration, and supporting individuals in their daily lives, contributing to their well-being and independence.

Requirements

• Minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Nursing experience within Home Care/ Home Health, Private Duty Nursing, Long Term Care, or Disability Services is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performing duties as outlined in the plan of care such as Medication Administration, Personal Care, Light Housekeeping and day to day support.
• Managing a caseload with a 2:2 ratio of individuals.
• Effectively communicating updates and changes to patient's status to the supervising RN.
• Maintaining a safe patient environment.
• Providing emotional and social support and compassionate care to patients.
• Maintaining current patient records and progress notes.
• Working as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Developing and establishing a plan of care with physician.
