About The Position

Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician or Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician to join our Pediatric Rehabilitation and Child Development Department. This role involves working within an engaged, multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping children and families thrive. The team includes developmental-behavioral pediatricians, pediatric neuropsychologists, physiatrists, geneticists, and pediatric primary care and specialty providers, supported by experienced pediatric occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, and physical therapists. The department provides comprehensive, family-centered care for children with a wide range of developmental and behavioral needs. Randall Children’s Hospital has a long-standing reputation for caring for children from neonatal periods through adolescence in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Requirements

  • Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent
  • Completion of Board Certification in Pediatrics
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities
  • Medical License for the applicable state
  • Current PEARS and NRP certificates from the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

  • Provide developmental evaluations and clinical care for pediatric patients with developmental and behavioral concerns, including autism, ADHD, and genetic disorders.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, family-centered care.
