THE ROLE The Development Assistant will provide administrative, creative, and project support to the Development team at Live Nation Studios. This role supports the evaluation, tracking, and advancement of film and television projects and helps ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the development department. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented. This position offers hands-on exposure to the creative development process, including script coverage and presentation materials while requiring discretion, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with executives, creative partners and internal stakeholders. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Executive & Administrative Support Manage calendars for the team of development executives, including scheduling, confirming, and coordinating internal and external meetings as well as taking meeting notes and keeping a database going for the team’s expanding professional network. Log notes during core team meetings. Maintain up-to-date phone sheets and contact information. Coordinate domestic and international travel and logistics for executives and, when needed, adjacent talent. Prepare and submit expense reports for development team members accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with general office and departmental administrative tasks as needed. Support departmental projects as needed, including, but not limited to, maintaining organizational documents, grids and databases, script coverage, entertainment business research and preparing agendas and memos for high-level leadership meetings Development & Project Support Maintain a detailed log of incoming scripts, pitches, and project submissions; track status and disseminate information to appropriate internal teams. Read scripts and prepare written coverage, summaries, and creative notes as assigned. Read and watch relevant IP content in the film and TV space where it intersects with Live Nation Studios’ ongoing mandates. Assist with the creation and assembly of development materials, including pitch decks, presentations, and internal briefing documents. Develop and maintain a thorough familiarity with all projects in development, including current status, attachments, and next steps. Maintain and update development grids, tracking documents, databases, and organizational materials. Assist in preparing agendas, memos, and materials for internal development meetings and leadership discussions. Communication & Coordination Liaise closely with other assistants and coordinators across Live Nation Studios, as well as with external partners including talent, representatives, and production entities Serve as a professional and reliable point of contact for internal and external communications related to the development team Handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. 3+ years of experience in an administrative, assistant, or coordinator role, preferably within film, television, media, or entertainment. Prior experience at a studio, production company, literary agency, or talent agency strongly preferred. Strong interest in film and television development and storytelling. Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment. Highly organized and detail-oriented Proactive and solutions-focused Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable working in a creative, fast-paced environment Collaborative team player with a positive, professional attitude Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently with limited direction.
