Job Description The U.S. Bank Freight Payment Technology Team is currently seeking a Technology Leader to own and oversee the strategic product development of the Freight payment product within U.S. Bank's Corporate Payment Systems area. The senior leader will lead the 100+ resources responsible for the technology development and support of the Freight ecosystem including Freight Payments, Small Parcel Processing and our ServiceNow-based Customer Servicing platforms. Responsible for the development and implementation of information technology applications, systems analysis, and programming activities that support a functional area, business line, and/or major product. Manages IT professionals who design and develop or acquire and adapt application software, to ensure successful coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance of software systems, networks, and applications infrastructure. Works with management to identify and prioritize information systems needs and to develop project plans and budgets for approved projects. Responsible for the development and implementation of information technology applications, systems analysis, and programming activities that support a functional area, business line, and/or major product. Manages IT professionals who design and develop or acquire and adapt application software, to ensure successful coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance of software systems, networks, and applications infrastructure. Works with management to identify and prioritize information systems needs and to develop project plans and budgets for approved projects. Provides overall direction and guidance to project managers, reviews project requests, monitors timelines, and prepares activity and progress reports. Consults with IS personnel in other areas to coordinate systems development activities.
