About The Position

The Development Engineering Manager leverages expertise in design, engineering, and process development to contribute to business success; contributing to business strategy, developing differentiated capabilities, serving customers, and improving efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering
• Process design experience in a medical device environment
• Minimum of 3 years of management/leadership experience required.
• Design for manufacturability experience required.
• Good PC skills in CAD, ERP system(s), Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with ISO13485 or GMP compliance in a medical manufacturing environment.
• A developer of engineering talent.
• Proficient in teamwork, understanding roles/responsibilities of team members as well as what inputs each need and what outputs are expected.
• Excellent communication skills including questioning and listening as well as teaching and memorializing information.
• Exceptional ability to solve problems through innovation.
• Proven initiative to meet commitments, stay current on new offering, and share learning.
• Shares passion and enthusiasm for innovation and success.

• Drives new process technologies and enhancements to expand our capabilities, aligned with market needs.
• Creates automation solutions to meet the capacity, precision, and efficiency needs, cost effectively either on their own or through collaboration and support of team members.
• Accountable for creating extraordinary customer experiences.
• Accountable for supporting new project revenue goal.
• Accountable to support the annual operating cost savings goal through automation of processes.
• Accountable for manufacturing transfer of capable, repeatable processes.
