About The Position

Stray Cat Alliance is seeking a Development Coordinator to join their team. This role is data-and-process focused, involving regular donor correspondence. The coordinator will be responsible for maintaining an accurate and organized donor database, processing gifts (cash and in-kind), and ensuring donors feel appreciated. The ideal candidate loves clean, strong systems and timely thank-you notes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working with databases (fundraising CRM experience required).
• Strong skills in Google and Microsoft products, including spreadsheets and mail merge.
• Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising.
• Great attention to detail and the ability to manage your own projects and deadlines.
• Strong people skills, spoken and written.

Nice To Haves

• A big heart for cats.
• Experience with animals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep the donor database accurate and organized.
• Process gifts (cash and in-kind).
• Ensure donors feel seen and appreciated.
• Run reports and check data.
• Assist the Director of Development with preparations for tours.
• Lend a hand at donor events.
• Pull together materials for appeals.
• Support press or donor requests as they arise.
• Ensure Development runs smoothly and donors feel valued.
