About The Position

The Development Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Children's Attention Home's nonprofit fundraising efforts through hands-on coordination, donor stewardship, and day-to-day development operations. This fast-paced role works closely with the Director of Development & Marketing and requires strong organization and responsiveness to ensure follow-through on donor engagement, accurate gift processing, and effective execution of fundraising initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (communications, marketing, business, or related field preferred)
  • Availability to work occasional nights and weekends for events as needed
  • Valid driver's license
  • Mandatory attendance at a 4-day, 9am-5pm training on the Home's trauma-informed care model within 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years of nonprofit development/fundraising experience
  • Experience with donor communications, events, volunteer coordination, or customer/relationship management preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Office software, Bloomerang or donor CRM management, digital donation tools

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate donor stewardship and follow‑up
  • Support annual, major, and planned giving efforts through research, outreach, and tracking
  • Draft donor communications (emails, letters, and campaign materials)
  • Manage donor records, gift processing, and reporting in donor database (CRM)
  • Support fundraising projects, events, donor outreach efforts, and board efforts
