Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) is seeking ambitious, mission-aligned individuals for its Development Associate Program. This is a paid, part-time, fully remote, temporary program designed to train the next generation of fundraising professionals. As a Development Associate, you will be on the front lines of donor outreach, relationship-building, and revenue generation. This program offers hands-on training within YAL’s Development Department, focusing on supporting major donor fundraising efforts for both YAL and its sister organization, Young Americans for Liberty Foundation. The primary responsibilities include scheduling meetings with major donors, conducting prospect research, stewarding contributors through gratitude calls, and directly soliciting donations. You will track all interactions with precision and operate with a high level of professionalism. This is a performance-driven and growth-oriented role with structured training, reading assignments, and direct feedback over a six-month term, aiming to equip participants with foundational skills for a career in political fundraising. The position is a 3-month, part-time (20 hours per week), fully remote temporary role, running through September. High-performing associates may be considered for contract renewal or full-time opportunities.
