About The Position

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Development Assistant to support our Development team this fall in a paid internship. This part-time internship provides practical skill development in prospect research using database management best practices and learning how to build donor profiles and strategy. Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, partial schedule flexibility. Tuesdays and Wednesday are required in-office days, 2-4 hours each day. Remaining hours can be hybrid. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Currently attending or recently graduated from a post-secondary degree program in non-profit management, public administration, data management or analytics, research methods, library science, business, public policy or a related field
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow step-by-step procedures accurately
Basic comfort with databases, spreadsheets or recordkeeping systems
Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information
Reliability, consistency, and willingness to ask questions when information is unclear

Responsibilities

Research donor prospects and distill information into potential donor profiles
Complete database maintenance and data quality support tasks
Support the ongoing accuracy and completeness of donor and constituent records by following established data processes
