About The Position
We're hiring a Developer (Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript) to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday. Work Authorization: Sponsorship is not available for this role; no C2C or third-party candidates. Candidates must be able to work on our W2.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Experience with pipeline tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, and DevOps Deploy
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree; OR Degree Equivalency: 4 years of job-related work experience or 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree
Nice To Haves
- Experience with and integrating external APIs, particularly HTTP RESTful APIs, is a big plus
- Containerization experience (OpenShift/Kubernetes/Docker) is also a plus
Responsibilities
- Support and enhance the tools that make up the development pipeline
- Write scripts, build test code, and integrate automation
- Own, administer, troubleshoot, and support the platforms the team manages
- Participate in a week-long on-call rotation roughly five times per year
