About The Position

Peregrine Advisors is hiring a Developer to build Python services on Amazon Web Services (AWS) that automatically read and route federal filings. The role begins on a project helping a federal agency replace a manual, paper-heavy intake process with an intelligent document-processing pipeline. The work may include developing cloud services to process high-volume filer applications, combining optical character recognition (OCR) with AI to extract information, scoring extraction confidence, implementing routing decisions and validation rules, matching records, and creating human-review workflows. The position contributes to an automated pipeline that takes filings from submission to decision in a regulated environment where accuracy and auditability are essential. Project assignments may change as the company’s needs evolve. The role is hybrid in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, with commuting cadence varying by assignment. The initial engagement requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust determination. This is a full-time W-2 position.
