About The Position

LogRocket is seeking a technical and creative Developer Relations (DevRel) professional to serve as the primary representative for LogRocket among engineers and technical leaders. This role involves leveraging and evolving LogRocket's established content platforms, including the PodRocket podcast, the LogRocket blog, and their YouTube channel, to showcase AI-native development tooling, particularly using Galileo AI. The position is initially an individual contributor role with the potential to build a team if successful. The DevRel will report to the VP of Marketing and collaborate closely with the engineering organization and technical founders. This is not a sales engineering position; the focus is on building LogRocket's reputation within the developer community.

Requirements

  • Strong engineering background with experience shipping production code, ideally using modern web stacks (React, Vue, Angular) and at least one backend language (Node, Python, Go).
  • A proven track record of creating technical content that resonates with engineers (portfolio is more important than credentials).
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and on microphone for continuous video content creation.
  • Genuine interest in AI as a builder, with experience experimenting with tools like MCP, opinions on agent design, and a history of shipping AI-related projects.
  • Strong editorial judgment, including the ability to manage a content calendar, set quality standards, and make decisions about content publication.
  • Comfort working in a startup environment and collaborating directly with founders and engineering leaders.

  • Experience with modern web stacks (React, Vue, Angular) and backend languages (Node, Python, Go).

Responsibilities

  • Manage PodRocket end-to-end, including editorial and guest strategy, preparation, interviewing, and direction. External resources handle sound engineering, video clips, and YouTube production.
  • Define the next chapter for The LogRocket blog, including editorial direction, setting publishing standards, and shifting focus from pure SEO to content that compounds in an AI-search environment.
  • Create technical content across video, written, and code formats, such as tutorials, sample applications, walkthroughs, integration guides, and posts specifically about Galileo AI, session replay, and AI in developer workflows.
  • Engage with the developer community to establish a feedback loop between developers (both LogRocket users and non-users) and LogRocket's product and engineering teams.
  • Develop a personal technical presence on platforms like YouTube, X, and GitHub, growing your personal brand alongside LogRocket's, using PodRocket, the blog, and the LogRocket YouTube channel as primary platforms.
