Developer Platform Engineer (Financial Cloud)

IntelliPro Group Inc.•Palo Alto, CA
•$200,000 - $300,000

About The Position

You will be a core builder of the Financial Cloud developer platform, implementing CI/CD pipelines, GitOps automation, artifact management, a dependency graph engine, and change impact analysis tooling. These capabilities will enable 50–100 versioned modules to be independently built, tested, composed, and deployed across dozens of global compliance sites.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in backend, platform, infrastructure, or developer tools engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Go (primary) or Java/Kotlin, with Python scripting.
  • Production CI/CD pipeline development experience with GitHub Actions, Tekton, Jenkins, or custom orchestrators.
  • GitOps at scale (10+ clusters) using ArgoCD, Flux, or Kustomize.
  • Kubernetes experience with operators, custom controllers, CRDs, and Helm chart development.
  • Build systems experience with Bazel or Gradle, including reproducible builds, remote caching, and build graph optimization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with dependency analysis tooling or graph databases such as Neo4j or Dgraph.
  • Supply chain security experience with Sigstore, in-toto, or SBOM generation.
  • Experience with AWS tools such as CodePipeline, CodeBuild, or Proton, or GCP tools such as Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, or Cloud Deploy.

Responsibilities

  • Build module-level CI/CD pipelines that produce versioned artifacts, including Docker images and Kubernetes manifests, with hermetic builds, pinned toolchains, and deterministic outputs.
  • Implement build provenance automation, including SLSA attestation, artifact signing, dependency chain verification, and Golden Signals validation in CI.
  • Develop a dependency graph database that ingests static and runtime dependencies and provides a queryable graph for change impact analysis.
  • Build change impact analysis tools that compute affected modules, sites, and tests at the pull request level, surface results in the PR review UI, and orchestrate selective testing.
  • Implement a GitOps deployment engine using ArgoCD or Flux controllers, with staging-canary-production promotion, Golden Signals monitoring, and automatic rollback.
  • Build site provisioning tooling, a version management console, a security patch force-push pipeline, and a four-layer test orchestrator.
