About The Position

Tuknik Government Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Developer – GenAI to support TGS and its government customer on the Army Contracting Enterprise. This remote position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. The developer will work closely with the Senior Generative AI Developer to design, build, and deploy automation and AI-driven solutions that streamline contracting operations. The role supports expanding the team’s development capacity, identifying new use cases, and bringing AI-driven solutions into practice. The successful candidate is eager to learn, self-motivated, and passionate about generative AI and automation. They will develop across a range of platforms and technology stacks, including Power Platform, UiPath, Appian, Python, and C#, and support the team's transition to cloud-based AI development using AWS services. The role also involves working with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and keeping current with developments in generative AI, automation, and cloud technologies.

Requirements

Experience developing AI-powered tools, including workflows with nested AI capabilities for real-time evaluations and results.
Experience with AI-assisted tool development, using AI to assist in creating full-stack applications, programs, or tools.
Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python and/or C#.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Deep understanding of generative AI concepts, large language models (LLMs), context management, chunking algorithms, and prompt engineering.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Commitment to continuous learning and interest in exploring the evolving AI landscape and bringing new capabilities to the team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to test, troubleshoot, and optimize automations and AI workflows.

Nice To Haves

Experience developing automation solutions with one or more of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), UiPath (RPA), or Appian (low-code development).
Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly Bedrock, Lambda, S3, and related serverless technologies.
Knowledge of API development and integration.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of data security and compliance requirements in government environments.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Senior Gen AI Developer to design, build, and deploy generative AI and automation solutions across multiple technology platforms.
Develop and maintain automation supporting the Army contracting enterprise, improving efficiency and reducing manual workloads.
Identify, scope, and prototype new use cases for AI and automation technologies.
Build solutions using Power Platform, UiPath, Appian, and custom code, primarily Python and C#.
Support the team's transition into cloud-based AI development using AWS services such as Bedrock and Lambda.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Test, troubleshoot, and optimize existing automations and AI workflows.
Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Stay current with emerging trends in generative AI, automation, and cloud technologies.
