About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented DevSecOps Engineer with a Secret clearance to work from our Colorado Springs, CO location. This position is contingent upon the program award expected in June, 2026. As a DevSecOps Engineer you will: Perform technical planning, design, development, and integration for total system life cycle. Develop, test, and install mission updates for operational and test systems. Design, develop, document, test, & debug software. Develop, test, and install mission critical patches for operational and test systems. Deploy software/hardware deliveries, supports special projects, and offer an assistance to operational crews and contractor teams to resolve system issues. Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development & analyze system capabilities to resolve program problems. Validate incorporation of features & use cases into implemented designs. This is an EMERGING PROFESSIONAL (level 2) role where candidates typically require a minimum of 1+ years of professional experience and a BS degree. Requirements

  • Active DOD8570 certified - Sec+ or the ability to obtain one within 60 days
  • Experience with Unix/Lnx
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment
  • Must be able to work in a production/operational environment
  • Must be willing and able to travel (10-20%) across Front Range of Colorado
  • Active Secret Clearance required prior to start
  • Ability to lift 50lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with crypto devices (KG-175 or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members
