About The Position
Detox Unit Assistant (DUA) – Full-Time Night Shift. Evergreen Detox is seeking a dependable, motivated Detox Unit Assistant (DUA) to join our overnight team in our 16-bed medical detox facility. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and understands the importance of both patient care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
Requirements
- A compassionate understanding of substance use disorders
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License, acceptable driving record and be able to operate a company vehicle without restriction.
- Applicants must successfully pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test
Nice To Haves
- Washington State Department of Health Certified Nursing Assistant a plus
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly patient care environment through routine janitorial and housekeeping duties.
- Complete patient admissions by accurately entering information into the electronic medical record.
- Obtain required patient signatures and documentation.
- Prepare and send required insurance notifications and other electronic communications.
- Complete assigned documentation accurately and on time.
- Support nursing staff with non-clinical patient care duties as needed.
- Assist in maintaining a therapeutic, welcoming environment for patients.
