About The Position
ADESA is hiring a Detailer to prepare vehicles for auction and sale by performing vehicle cleaning, detailing, and reconditioning tasks. Detailers work in team units at the final stage of vehicle processing, applying proper interior and exterior cleaning and inspection techniques to meet sale-ready standards. The role also provides preparation for learning advanced detailing techniques. Candidates may be new to auto detailing or experienced and should be motivated to stay busy, interested in an automotive career, and comfortable working with others. The position requires a clean background and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. Responsibilities
- Perform interior detailing and upholstery cleaning.
- Clean vehicle windows and perform pre-wash and buffer tasks.
- Complete quality-control checks and vehicle inspections to maintain proper standards.
- Work as part of a team to clean, detail, and prepare vehicles for sale.
- Learn and apply proper techniques for interior and exterior vehicle cleaning.
- Prepare to learn advanced detailing techniques.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
