About The Position
Kirmac Collision & Autoglass is seeking an Auto Detailer to start their career in collision repair. This role is ideal for individuals who love cars, enjoy working with their hands, and are looking for a long-term career in the automotive industry. As a Detailer, you will play a key role in the customer experience by ensuring vehicles leave the shop looking their best. You will gain hands-on skills and exposure to the cleaning and handling requirements of modern vehicles, including EVs and ADAS-equipped models. This position serves as a foundation for future roles within the collision repair trade, such as Auto Body Technician, Automotive Painter, Collision Estimator, Parts Coordinator, or Shop Leadership & Management.
Requirements
- A willingness to learn and work hard.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well with others and follow instructions.
- Valid BC driver’s license (N is totally fine!).
- No experience needed; training will be provided.
Nice To Haves
- Interest in cars or trades is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare vehicles inside and out after repair, including EVs, hybrids, and vehicles with advanced driver-assist technologies.
- Inspect vehicles for quality and help ensure they meet Kirmac's standards.
- Assist technicians and team members as needed.
- Move vehicles safely around the shop and lot.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Represent Kirmac with a friendly, professional attitude.
