About This Role The Federal Programs Detailer is responsible for the technical execution, coordination, and compliance review of federal and government projects from award through release for ordering. This role serves as a critical control point within the project lifecycle, ensuring openings, hardware, specifications, submittits, and scope presentations align with contract requirements, code compliance, operational execution, and overall project risk management expectations. This individual operates as the final technical review point before scope is formally presented to the customer, general contractor, or project team. The role requires strong specification interpretation, contract awareness, Comsense processing capabilities, and the ability to identify execution, compliance, coordination, and scope-related risks prior to release. The Federal Programs Detailer works closely with Project Management, Estimating, Operations, and Sales to support successful federal project execution while maintaining alignment with company standards, contract requirements, and customer expectations. This is a role for someone who takes genuine pride in precision: a subject-matter expert who catches specification conflicts before they become field problems and produces submittals that hold up to scrutiny from architects and general contractors.
