About The Position

At Teton Auto Group, the Detail Technician performs professional-level interior and exterior vehicle cleaning. The role involves preparing used and new inventory within two days or less. Work is generally performed indoors in a shop, with occasional outdoor work. Shop conditions may include cool or hot temperatures, elevated noise, fumes, and dust; outdoor work involves exposure to heat, cold, sun, rain, and other weather conditions.

Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to the employer’s insurance company.
• Certifications appropriate for the individual position.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including standing and walking for extended periods; carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling; bending and twisting; occasional squatting, kneeling, and ladder climbing; and frequent overhead reaching.
• Hearing adequate to interpret vehicle noises for diagnosis and proper operation.
• Sight adequate to perform duties, operate vehicles, and identify shop conditions and hazards.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of general detailing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash, wax, and buff vehicle exteriors.
• Wash windows.
• Clean vehicle interiors by vacuuming and shampooing.
• Wash engines and engine housings.
• Clean tools and devices frequently.
• Process all used and new inventory within two days or less.
