About The Position

Camping World is hiring a Technician Detailer for its dealership team. The role combines RV detailing and light mechanical work. The technician cleans and prepares RVs for customer purchase and showroom display, maintains a clean and safe work area, and performs light mechanical tasks. The position may involve cross-training for other duties, such as driving forklifts, and other tasks assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Experience in light mechanical work.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistive devices.
• Exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment.
• Work in conditions that may include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness.

Nice To Haves

• Housekeeping or car detailing experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean RVs inside and outside.
• Prepare RVs for customer purchase and the showroom floor.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform light mechanical work, including installing batteries, applying putty sticks and silicone, and assisting with hanging awnings.
• May cross-train to perform other duties, such as driving forklifts.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the manager.
