Detail Specialist- Project Based (Mon-Fri 5am- 1:30pm)
About The Position
U-Haul is seeking new team members to clean and detail trucks and trailers, ensuring our equipment remains in top condition for customers. Working in our detail bays is a great way to begin a career at U-Haul, offering opportunities for on-the-job learning and advancement within the Company. U-Haul has the largest fleet of trucks and trailers in the industry and requires a dedicated team to maintain their appearance. The role includes participation in a Technician Training Program with classes from Ford, GMC, and U-Haul. U-Haul provides necessary tools and fosters a family atmosphere with experienced team members. Detailers will use U-Haul's proprietary technology for field vehicle care. This position offers endless opportunities for career growth.
Requirements
- Driver’s license
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
- Regular attendance
Responsibilities
- Clean and buff trucks and trailers.
- Handle damaged equipment leaving the fleet by removing decals and preparing equipment for sale.
- Use industry standard safety equipment.
- Work in a production line.
- Willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
