About The Position

U-Haul is looking for new team members to clean and detail the newest trucks and trailer fleet in the industry, ensuring that our equipment remains in top condition for our customers. This role is presented as a great way to begin a career at U-Haul, allowing team members to learn on the job and advance to other positions within the Company. Working in the detail bays, individuals will contribute to keeping the largest fleet of trucks and trailers looking great. The position also offers growth through the Technician Training Program, which includes classes from Ford, GMC, and U-Haul. U-Haul provides the necessary tools for the job and fosters a family atmosphere with long-time team members. As a U-Haul detailer, you will use the Company’s proprietary technology to care for field vehicles, with support and tools provided for success and career growth.

Requirements

• Driver’s license
• The ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
• Regular attendance

Responsibilities

• Clean and buff trucks and trailers.
• Handle damaged equipment leaving the fleet by removing decals and preparing equipment for sale.
• Use industry standard safety equipment.
• Work in a production line.
• Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
