Detail Specialist
About The Position
U-Haul is seeking Detail Specialists to clean and detail new trucks and trailers, ensuring the fleet remains in top condition for customers. This role serves as an entry point into a career at U-Haul, offering opportunities for on-the-job learning and advancement to other positions within the company. Detail Specialists will work in detailing bays, contributing to maintaining the industry's largest fleet of trucks and trailers. The position also provides growth through the Technician Training Program, which includes classes from Ford, GMC, and U-Haul. U-Haul provides necessary tools and a supportive environment with experienced team members. The role involves using U-Haul Company’s proprietary technology to care for field vehicles and offers endless opportunities for career growth.
Requirements
- Driver’s license
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
- Regular attendance
Responsibilities
- Clean and buff trucks and trailers.
- Handle damaged equipment leaving the fleet by removing decals and preparing equipment for sale.
- Use industry standard safety equipment.
- Work in a production line
- Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
