About The Position

Bowser Automotive is seeking a Detail Lot Attendant to detail and prepare pre-owned vehicles for the showroom and delivery. The role requires attention to detail when cleaning and detailing vehicles, as well as maintaining internal and external customer relationships to support smooth dealership operations. The Detail Lot Attendant works closely with the Sales Manager of Pre-Owned vehicles and carries out tasks as directed by the Detail Manager and Pre-Owned Sales Manager. Duties also include keeping the detail shop and dealership areas orderly and clean, and clearing snow and ice during winter months.

Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and walk for up to 8 hours per workday.
Ability to work in a wet environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicles brought to the Detail Shop and ensure each vehicle meets showroom quality standards.
Inspect vehicles for damage and verify that listed accessories, such as spare tires and radios, are present.
Record descriptions of vehicle damage and notify the Pre-Owned Sales Manager.
Park vehicles in assigned areas after detailing or when they are ready for delivery.
Occasionally retrieve and/or deliver vehicles to other dealerships.
During winter months, shovel, salt, and clear doorways, and remove snow and ice from vehicles in the lot.
Perform tasks as directed by the Detail Manager and Pre-Owned Sales Manager, including emptying trash containers and maintaining order and cleanliness in the detail shop.
