About The Position

As a Detail Inspector I, you’ll support the StandardAero Miramar team by inspecting the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and serving as a strong advocate for quality, reliability, and attention to detail while ensuring compliance with quality standards. Our team provides airlines and MRO service providers with high-quality aircraft material and cost-effective solutions through exceptional customer service, industry experience, and rigorous quality control to support our customers’ operational and financial goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of aviation quality assurance experience, including quality inspection of aircraft parts, materials, or components.
Experience working with quality management systems, procedures, and applicable quality standards.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
Ability to lift and/or move materials weighing up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

2+ years of shipping/receiving in aviation.
A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
Certification of quality control (e.g., ISO 9000).
Prior experience with Quantum Control preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming and outgoing parts to ensure they are up to quality standards and FAA regulations.
Perform general warehouse duties.
Perform self-audits on procedures to ensure conformity to the quality management system; ISO 9001:2015.
Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager.
Receiving and inspecting engine teardowns.
Shipping parts to customers and vendors.
