Destination Services Consultant
About The Position
This role at Dwellworks is for a Destination Services Consultant (DSC) who will provide one-on-one guidance and local expertise to employees and their families relocating to a new city. The position involves temporary, assignment-based work, offering a flexible schedule and autonomy. Consultants act as independent contractors, assisting newcomers with various services including area orientations, securing housing, identifying schools, opening bank accounts, and obtaining necessary documents like Social Security Numbers and driver's licenses. The support is delivered through a mixture of both in-person and virtual interactions. This opportunity does not pair well with full-time employment due to the ever-changing program needs.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of city and surrounding areas, including local schools
- Possession of a valid driver’s license, as the consultants are expected to drive clients in the area in their personal vehicle
- Proficient in basic computer applications
- A flexible schedule that would accommodate an ad hoc working style
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to research efficiently
- Effective at problem-solving
- Skilled in time-management
