Destination Services Consultant
About The Position
This role combines temporary assignments with a flexible schedule for individuals that are passionate about introducing their city to newcomers! It is an opportunity to provide one-on-one guidance through a mixture of both in-person support as well as virtual. This is an assignment-based opportunity. You will be engaged as an independent contractor. Contract assignments can range depending on the specific program selected for the individuals relocating. Our Destination Services Consultants provide local support and expertise to employees and their families who are being relocated.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of city and surrounding areas, including local schools
- Possession of a valid driver’s license, as the consultants are expected to drive clients in the area in their personal vehicle
- Proficient in basic computer applications
- A flexible schedule that would accommodate an ad hoc working style
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to research efficiently
- Effective at problem-solving
- Skilled in time-management
Responsibilities
- Performing area orientations
- Helping to secure housing
- Identifying schools for enrollment
- Opening bank accounts
- Securing a Social Security Number
- Obtaining a driver's license
