About The Position
We are seeking part-time Desktop Support temporary employees to assist with Windows 11 deployments across our organization. This role involves performing straightforward upgrade tasks by following a detailed, step-by-step guide. The process primarily requires initiating the upgrade, monitoring progress, and performing basic post-installation checks.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred).
- 1-2 years' experience with Apple iOS and MacOS.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks across multiple devices.
- Reliable, punctual, and organized with strong attention to detail.
- Physically able to move between workstations within the deployment site.
Nice To Haves
- Prior desktop support or IT deployment experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Follow a provided step-by-step deployment guide to upgrade Windows 10 computers to Windows 11.
- Initiate upgrade processes on multiple computers simultaneously.
- Monitor upgrades for successful completion and troubleshoot basic issues using provided documentation.
- Perform basic post-upgrade verification to ensure devices are operational.
- Communicate status updates to the project lead as requested.
- Handle equipment carefully and maintain professional conduct in office environments.
