About The Position

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide Tier 1/2 technical support for end users, resolving hardware, software, and operating system issues in both remote and on-site environments. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, customer interaction skills, and the ability to collaborate within a team.

Requirements

  • Foundational experience in desktop support or helpdesk support (Tier 1/2)
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues independently
  • Ability to communicate clearly with users while diagnosing and resolving technical problems
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical knowledge
  • Experience providing support in both remote and on-site environments
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1/2 support for desktop hardware, application software, and operating system issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems via phone, remote tools, and in-person desk-side support
  • Diagnose issues efficiently, determine root cause, and implement effective solutions
  • Support end users with timely issue resolution while maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Escalate complex issues to senior support teams when necessary
  • Collaborate with IT team members to ensure consistent and efficient support delivery
