Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience as a PC Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and PC hardware
• Familiarity with LAN/WAN networks and TCP/IP protocols
• Experience with common software and hardware troubleshooting techniques
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Good communication abilities, with an emphasis on customer service
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional
• Experience with desktop virtualization tools
• Knowledge of Collaboration Tools, and Desktop security implementations

Responsibilities

• Build, provision, diagnose, and troubleshoot end user desktop/laptop computers and peripherals
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on PCs and related equipment
• Provide technical support and guidance to users
• Manage inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
• Manage Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Intune and SharePoint
• Document technical knowledge using company standards
• Collaborate with other Operations IT group members to ensure smooth and reliable operation of systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in desktop computer technology
