About The Position

We are looking for a motivated Desktop Support Specialist ready to take us to the next level! If you have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, 1-3 years of desktop support, help desk, or technical support experience, and are looking for your next career move, apply now. We are looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. This position will diagnose and resolve technical incidents, maintain desktop systems and devices, and ensure employees can work efficiently with minimal downtime. This position will be full-time contract and on-site.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 1-3 years of desktop support, help desk, or technical support experience
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and services
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
  • Experience using ticketing systems and remote support platforms
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or related technical certifications
  • Experience supporting iOS and Android mobile devices
  • Basic scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Bash, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with endpoint management solutions such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or JAMF
  • Experience working in fast-paced enterprise support environments

Responsibilities

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issues
  • Install, configure, maintain, and update desktop operating systems and business applications
  • Respond to help desk tickets, phone calls, emails, and walk-up support requests in a timely manner
  • Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate IT teams when necessary
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and system configurations accurately and consistently
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding by provisioning and decommissioning accounts and equipment
  • Assist remote users using remote access and support tools
  • Maintain compliance with security standards, including antivirus management, patching, and access controls
  • Track technology assets and support inventory and equipment lifecycle management
