About The Position

Precision Resources, a division of the Trimarc Group Inc., is currently searching for an experienced Desktop Support Analyst for an ONSITE contract position with one of our clients in Dothan, AL. Position Summary The qualified individual will be responsible for upgrading Windows 10 to Windows 11 across the organization. This position involves assessing current systems, performing upgrades, troubleshooting any issues, and ensuring a smooth transition for all users. When available, additional assistance is needed to provide daily technical support to all users’ endpoint systems - desktops, laptops, phones, smart phones, tablets, printers - software and hardware. This is a customer-facing position so this person will need to have excellent customer service skills, professionalism and a positive attitude.

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience with Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrades and migrations.
  • 3+ years’ enterprise level experience in a Helpdesk/Desktop Support Windows environment, including the ability to diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
  • Ability to work with existing staff with the installation, configuration and ongoing support of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software.
  • Experience in general IT domains such as network, server, storage, MS Active Directory, etc.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
  • Experience providing technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically.
  • Proven experience with IT ticketing system (ServiceNow, Ivanti, Kaseya) to document, prioritize, and track requests.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on IT inventory.
  • Ability to work ONSITE Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00 with potential overtime.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be a US Citizen or have a valid US Green Card
