Desktop IT Support Specialist (Burbank)
About The Position
We are seeking a Desktop IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technology support within a fast-paced media production and broadcast environment. This position supports enterprise technology, production systems, creative teams, broadcast operations, and end-user computing. The IT Support Specialist will work closely with senior engineers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to maintain reliable systems and quickly resolve issues that could impact production or live operations. The ideal candidate brings strong Help Desk/Desktop Support experience, solid troubleshooting skills across Windows and Mac environments, and the ability to remain organized and responsive in a time-sensitive production setting.
Requirements
- Previous professional experience in Help Desk, Desktop Support, IT Support, Production Technology Support, or a similar technical support role.
- Experience working within an IT Service Management (ITSM) environment.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows and/or macOS systems.
- General understanding of networking, infrastructure, endpoints, and enterprise technology.
- Strong hardware, software, peripheral, and end-user troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to troubleshoot effectively and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 production operation, including scheduled nights, weekends, holidays, and after-hours coverage.

Responsibilities
- Provide onsite technical support for production, broadcast, creative, and corporate users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, peripheral, and connectivity issues.
- Support Windows PCs, Macs, smartphones, tablets, printers, and other end-user devices.
- Respond to system and network outages, malfunctions, and other technical incidents.
- Perform diagnostic testing and collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and engineering teams to resolve complex issues.
- Provide incident resolution and post-change support for production and creative systems.
- Manage hardware and technology assets throughout their lifecycle.
- Perform software installations, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Support application deployment and management, including Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Perform OS imaging and maintain established workstation configuration standards.
- Assist with infrastructure management and preventative system maintenance.
- Provide conference room and audiovisual technology support.
- Perform user administration and access-related support.
- Support technology procurement, inventory management, equipment deployment, and asset tracking.
- Coordinate office moves, workstation setups, and equipment reallocations.
- Provide printer support across production and office environments.
- Provide technical support for special events and production activities.
- Maintain systems and equipment to help ensure optimal performance and availability.
