About The Position

Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 100 firm, is currently seeking a Desktop Analyst to support the firms IT Department. The Desktop Analyst is responsible for managing and supporting desktop, laptop, and VDI environments across the firm.

Requirements

  • Over 3 years of experience in a large organization.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently under strict guidelines.
  • Adept prioritization skills.
  • Advanced technical expertise in Microsoft Windows environments using tools like SCCM, Intune, PowerShell, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Advanced troubleshooting experience with Windows 10/11.
  • PowerShell skills.
  • Experience working within a large organization with multiple deployments.

  • Legal firm experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Executing and maintaining best practices for desktop, laptop, and VDI management, such as software packaging, deployment, patching, inventory management, compliance reporting, license auditing, technical documentation, image creation, and workstation management.
  • Installing, testing, configuring, implementing, and documenting software applications supporting all firm operations.
