About The Position

• Responsible for troubleshooting and providing support for Windows Operating System. • Responsible for ghost imaging, configuration, and documentation. • Diagnose, troubleshoot and provide support of PCs, laptops, and printers. • Troubleshoot and support wired and wireless network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment. • Install, troubleshoot, and support telecommunication network. • Install Microsoft Windows systems, Microsoft Office, and other commonly used applications. • Oversee projects assigned to various staff and student workers. • Document system problems and resolutions for future reference. • Other duties as deemed necessary.

Requirements

  • Associates in a computer related field
  • One year experience in a computer related area
  • Skilled at providing PC support with both Windows and MACs
  • Ability to implement software and establish network connections
  • Proficiency in the use of standard office equipment and networked personal computers
  • Proficiency in or ability to become proficient in a variety of software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations needed to complete job tasks
  • Skilled at planning, organizing, and prioritizing job duties to meet deadlines
  • Maintaining interpersonal professional working relationship at all levels – students, peers, and Executives

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA A+, Network, or other Industry-Based certifications
  • Experience configuring VOIP and networking devices
  • Three years' work experience in a computer-related area
