About The Position

If you are an Information Technology professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting position for you! Based in our Chanhassen, MN location, you will provide front line PC support for manufacturing operations in Chanhassen, MN and Eden Prairie, MN that generate over $1 billion in sales each year. You will help support custom software running on >600 Windows PCs across various manufacturing lines and be integral to keeping our systems up and running. As a member of our Manufacturing Software and Data Support team, you will also have opportunities to grow into various technologies that span both software and hardware! In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Responding to software, PC, or peripheral device (barcode scanners, label printers, etc.) issues in our manufacturing lines; troubleshoot and fix or escalate the issues as appropriate Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with our production, technician, and engineering staff Documenting production support issues and procedures as needed to reduce rework and increase the knowledge of our team Working with our local and corporate IT teams to resolve and escalate issues when appropriate Assisting with the implement large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g. migration to Windows 11 is a recent example) Providing off-hours support as needed (infrequent) Who You Are: You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization. For This Role, You Will Need: Associate’s degree in business, IT, or related field and a minimum of zero (0) years of experience Competence with systems administration including setup, support, maintenance, and troubleshooting Microsoft operating systems, computer hardware and software on laptops, desktops, and mobile devices. Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $54,000-$64,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.

Requirements
