About The Position
NTT DATA is seeking a Desktop Administration-Wintel professional to join their team in Pataskala, Ohio. This is an on-site role at a client office, and only local candidates will be considered. The position involves installation, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of desktops, notebooks, and associated peripherals, with a focus on Windows operating systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving product performance issues, performing basic break-fix services for desktops and laptops, and instructing customers on basic Windows operation and maintenance. The role also includes serving as a company liaison with the customer and providing technical support and incident management through a service desk function using Service Now.
Requirements
- 5+ years desktop/technical support experience
- A+ Certification
- Desktop Management-Desktop Administration
- White Glove/VIP support experience
- Must have a proven customer service background
- Knowledgeable of Windows Operating System environment
- Must be able to comprehend and follow verbal and written technical instructions and scripts
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Physically able to lift and move Enterprise and Client technology hardware in our customer environments
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic customer interaction skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills
Responsibilities
- Responsible for on-site and/or remote installation, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting and/or repair of desktops, notebooks, and associated peripherals
- Windows, troubleshooting, diagnosing, imaging/deployment and software installation
- Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters
- Provide technical support and incident management service desk functions (Service Now)
- Reviews, troubleshoots, and approves operational quality desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals
- Installs, maintains and optimizes desktop /notebook configurations at customer sites
- Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems
- Performs maintenance and repair services (basic break fix for desktops, laptops.)
- Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of basic Windows
