About The Position

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Deskside Support Technician. This is an onsite role in Norcross, GA, and is a Full Time Contract position. Ideal candidates must have 2+ years of enterprise deskside support experience. Reliable transportation is required. The role involves assisting with an office move from Norcross to Alpharetta, evaluating hardware for relocation or e-waste, and performing physical tasks such as lifting and moving equipment up to 50 lbs, tearing down and setting up equipment, and packaging/palletizing equipment for shipment. The technician will also set up employee workspaces, including laptops, desk phones, and peripherals, and provide support to the Credit team during the office transition. Post-relocation, the role includes assisting users with Windows 11/Office 365 issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma - Required
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the practical application of systems and technology. This includes knowledge of systems architecture, hardware, operations and life cycle
• Knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows 11, Windows Server 2022, Windows Server 2025)
• Standard application installation (Office 365 products), configuration and troubleshooting
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills – Job requires partnership with all levels of the organization from personnel to executives. White-glove support
• 2+ years of enterprise deskside support experience
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Assist with an office move from Norcross to Alpharetta
• Evaluate hardware to determine if it goes to new office or be e-wasted
• Lifting and moving of equipment up to 50 lbs. Tear down and setup of equipment
• Packaging and palletizing equipment for shipment and then unpacking equipment. Must be able to traverse stairs
• Set up employee workspaces, including laptops with docking stations, desk phones, and other peripherals
• Assist with support of our Credit team on site at Norcross while setting up new office in Alpharetta
• Be able to assist our users with Windows 11/ Office 365 issues after they have been relocated
