About The Position

A Divine Event Design Studio, part of the Wedgewood Weddings family, is seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Designer to join their team. This role thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, focusing on the behind-the-scenes work that makes beautiful events possible. The Designer will handle flowers with care, maintain an efficient workspace, and support the design team in executing high-quality floral production. The studio specializes in full-service floral and event design, partnering with venue teams to execute cohesive, high-end experiences. This position offers a professional, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding design division.

Requirements

  • Experience in floral design, event décor, or creative production
  • Willingness to cross-train and learn new design skills
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality work
  • Ability to lift 30–40 lbs and work indoors/outdoors during event setups
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (ability to drive company vans)
  • 1+ year of floral design or event installation experience
  • Weekend Availability is a must
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of materials (up to 40 lbs)
  • Ability to work on ladders and at heights (up to 15’)
  • Willingness to support both production and installation teams
  • Ability to multitask and stay efficient under pressure
  • Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Wedding or special event industry background
  • Knowledge of color theory, floral mechanics, and wedding design
  • A great eye for color, layout, and design

Responsibilities

  • Design and create floral arrangements for weddings and special events
  • Assist with event décor setup, floral installation, and breakdown
  • Maintain floral quality, freshness, and presentation standards
  • Manage floral inventory and assist with supply restocking
  • Follow direction from Floral Manager and Leads to complete daily production tasks
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient floral workspace
  • Clean, prep, and organize floral vessels and containers
  • Process incoming flower shipments and properly condition product for longevity
  • Trim, hydrate, and prepare flowers for design production
  • Pack and unpack floral vans for events with attention to detail and care
  • Pull and organize floral and décor items based on event needs
  • Support overall warehouse, studio, and equipment upkeep
  • Assist with event load-ins, installations, and on-site setup
  • Collaborate with Floral Designers, Sales Designers, and venue teams
  • Adapt to last-minute changes with a positive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Help maintain an organized, clean Design Studio and workspace
  • Safely load, transport, and install décor and equipment at event venues
