About The Position

Creative Office Resources is the nation’s leading Miller/Knoll dealer and a leading resource in the contract furniture industry. They deliver exceptional and innovative results in designing new space, installing new offices, and relocating existing office spaces. This role is in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and supportive work environment. Designers work closely with sales teams and clients to program, plan, and specify contract furniture using the latest specification and rendering software. They collaborate with Miller/Knoll partners to bring cutting-edge workplace strategy and design to commercial, institutional, health care, and hospitality settings. Designers also participate in specialty groups focused on industry trends, product development, special-purpose furniture, textiles, technology, and other industry areas.

Requirements

BS or BA degree in Interior Design from a FIDER/CIDA accredited institution preferred
High level of attention to detail and technical proficiency
Experience drawing or specifying contract furnishings
Knowledge of IBC, ADA, MAAAB, and other life safety codes
Ability to coordinate, plan, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities and high-volume workload effectively with speed and accuracy
Self-motivated, innovative, and team-focused
Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills
Confident in leading client presentations
Familiarity with the A&D and commercial interiors industry
Proficient in AutoCAD 2018 and Microsoft Office; ability to learn other software programs quickly
