About The Position

Magic Spoon is looking for a versatile and collaborative Designer or Senior Designer to join our Creative team. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys variety, takes meaningful ownership of their work, and is comfortable adapting as priorities evolve. The work will span digital marketing, brand design, product launches, retail, shopper marketing, social, email, web, packaging, sales materials, and other creative needs across the business. One of the first major opportunities will be helping bring Magic Spoon’s upcoming redesign to life beyond the box. Our new packaging system is finalized, and this person will help translate that foundation into a broader visual expression across marketing and consumer touchpoints. This person will partner closely with Brand Marketing, Growth, Sales, Product, and Operations teams to turn business needs into thoughtful, effective creative. They should be open to feedback, comfortable working through ambiguity, and able to move projects forward with a high level of independence. We are also looking for someone who is curious about evolving creative tools, including AI, and interested in using them thoughtfully alongside photography, illustration, styling, and traditional production. Packaging experience is a plus, but it is not required. An openness to learning print-specific file builds is important as this role will support packaging design of new flavors, retail print support, and new product formats. Strong design fundamentals, flexibility, sound creative judgment, and a genuine willingness to learn matter most. This role reports to the Associate Creative Director and is open to remote candidates, as well as hybrid candidates based in New York City.
