About The Position

Lionakis is seeking an experienced Designer II to join its healthcare team in the Sacramento office. The team works on projects ranging from medical and health facilities to specialty clinics. The role supports project teams with BIM/CAD and Revit, design development, project records, research, specifications coordination, and presentation materials. The successful candidate will build on an understanding of general concepts and design and production standards, while pursuing professional growth and contributing to collaborative, community-focused design.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent.
At least 2 years of architectural project experience.
Professional work experience with healthcare projects.
Proficiency with Revit.
Experience with SketchUp or other graphic programs such as InDesign or Photoshop.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

HCAI/OSHPD experience.
LEED accreditation.

Responsibilities

Provide BIM/CAD support to project teams and interpret and produce BIM/CAD drawings from sketches, verbal instructions, or notes from project leads.
Provide Revit software support to project teams.
Demonstrate an understanding of plans, sections, and elevations.
Assist with concept design, including basic massing, plans, sections, elevations, and basic detailing concepts.
Manage time and complete tasks accurately and on schedule; demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and collaboration.
Produce and maintain current project records in direct support of studio project management.
Adhere to The Lionakis Way standards for design, quality control, and production.
Conduct and apply project research and coordinate basic outline specifications as directed.
Develop presentation materials to support projects or marketing efforts.
Assist the project team and market/studio leadership with other duties as assigned.
