About The Position

RIOS is an international design collective focused on the design of the built environment, believing that design is an act of optimism that changes the world. They practice interconnected design across architecture, placemaking, landscape architecture, and experience design. Their process begins with attunement, shaping strong conceptual thinking to develop a holistically informed big idea, which then serves as the foundation for exploring ecology, materiality, sustainability, and tectonic expression. RIOS is known for bold, inclusive, and interdisciplinary solutions that result in resilient, innovative, and meaningful design outcomes. The Designer II role contributes to project success through increasingly independent design, technical, and project delivery responsibilities. Designers at this level are trusted team members who manage portions of project work with growing autonomy, support interdisciplinary coordination, and contribute to the development of innovative, sustainable design solutions.
