About The Position

The Designer II, Interiors supports the interior design team in the development and documentation of interior architectural projects. This role contributes to design development, construction documents, furniture and finish specifications, and coordination across project phases, with a strong focus on Revit production and technical accuracy. This position is located in Seattle, Washington and will support Bassetti Architects, a design studio of HMC Architects. The position requires 3 days in the office and the ability to work from home Mondays and Fridays.

Requirements

  • Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience producing interior architectural drawings in Revit
  • Strong understanding of interior construction documentation and furniture/finish specifications
  • Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with drawing setup, coordination, and file management
  • Knowledge of applicable codes related to interiors and accessibility
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional, collaborative, and motivated to take on new challenges

Responsibilities

  • Assist with interior design development and construction documentation using Revit
  • Prepare interior plans, finish schedules, furniture specifications, and material presentations
  • Support coordination of interior drawings with architectural drawings and consultants
  • Assist with plan check responses and application of relevant accessibility and fire code requirements
  • Support construction administration activities, including submittal and RFI review
  • Ensure design intent is maintained throughout all project phases
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve conflicts and meet deadlines
  • Estimate and manage time for assigned tasks within established budgets
