About The Position

As a Designer, you will ultimately leverage your knowledge of professional design, strategic thinking, collaborative skills, and strong communication acumen to develop project designs and construction documents for single and multi-discipline projects. The responsibilities of this position include: Utilize experience and knowledge from coursework in the design of architectural/engineering projects. Generate project design and construction documents with oversight from senior staff for projects ranging from private residences to K-12 campuses and seismic retrofits of existing buildings to commercial developments. Utilize the applicable codes, regulations, and laws to preform code reviews and ensure project compliance. Assist on projects during construction through review and processing of RFI's, material submittals, and periodic on-site construction observation. Collaborate with project partners (in-house disciplines, owners, architects, sub-consultants, etc.). Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering from an accredited program
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills in a deadline driven arena
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
  • Strong proven technical skills
  • Ability to travel (occasionally) as we support projects throughout the state
  • Valid driver's license
