About The Position

WSP is hiring a Civil Designer to join our Site Civil Engineering Business Line in Cincinnati, Ohio. Candidates located in Exton, Pennsylvania, or Billings, Montana, will also be considered. The Opportunity Join our Power Delivery Team and help deliver impactful projects that solve complex challenges for our clients. You’ll collaborate with talented professionals and multiple design teams to support successful project delivery. Through hands-on project experience, departmental training initiatives, and mentorship from senior staff and engineers, you’ll continually expand your technical knowledge and skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant post education experience in discipline with prior drafting and design support experience.
• Knowledge of drafting and design support principles, practices, process, methods and techniques.
• Understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D sheet set production, topographic models and grading modeling
• Willing and able to self-check own work for completeness and accuracy
• Willingness to coordinate with other team members to meet project needs
• Must be flexible to changes in work assignments as changes occur in project needs
• The candidate must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to work effectively with other team members

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree in closely related discipline is preferred.
• Advanced understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Site/Land development experience, grading, drainage, stormwater management design modeling
• Working knowledge of survey coordinate systems is a plus
