About The Position

Provides support to Sales Representatives by managing all aspects of the design and project estimating process. This role involves evaluating client needs, creating space plans, renderings, pricing, and installation drawings, as well as coordinating with vendors and maintaining accurate project documentation.

Requirements

Strong computer skills required including knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft software such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, bend and stoop.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Associates Degree in drafting, engineering, architecture and/or equivalent education and experience.

Responsibilities

Participates in the review/design process to evaluate client needs and determine scope of services.
Performs services such as building shell, preliminary space plan, elevations, renderings, pricing, presentations, and installation drawings.
Contacts vendors and manufacturers for quotes, information, and samples.
Organizes and maintains files related to proposal and ordering processes, including vendor information.
Produces accurate specifications and cost estimates using specifying programs and procedures.
Reviews drawings, samples, and information with Sales Representatives before client meetings and makes necessary material changes.
Compiles product costs, vendor quotes, freight estimates, and installation budgets for project estimates and pricing.
Finalizes and generates copies of drawings required for installation.
Organizes drawings to ensure they are current and reference ready.
Assists in maintaining an organized and current job folder.
Maintains accurate design hours records.
Works effectively in teaming environments and communicates well, both written and orally.
