About The Position

Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. Interface Pathfinding is where we prove what’s next in high‑speed connectivity. We design, simulate, and validate new PHY concepts years ahead of products, learning directly from real silicon. We’re a small, senior team that values ownership, technical depth, and tight collaboration across analog, digital, and lab teams! This role owns pre‑silicon functional verification for a high‑speed interface chip. You’ll build the verification environment from the ground up and carry it through tape‑out and into lab bring‑up. Your work will give the team confidence in the RTL and ensure clean handoff from simulation to silicon.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 6–12 years of functional verification experience using UVM and SystemVerilog
  • Proven experience building DV environments from scratch
  • Strong coverage‑driven verification and debug skills
  • Experience verifying management or control interfaces such as I2C, SPI, APB, or AHB

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with formal verification tools such as JasperGold or VC Formal
  • Familiarity with mixed‑signal or PHY‑adjacent verification environments
  • Experience with PRBS, error counting, or eye monitor control logic
  • Post‑silicon validation or lab bring‑up experience

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the full‑chip DV plan including coverage targets and sign‑off criteria
  • Build and maintain UVM/SystemVerilog testbenches for soft IP and top‑level integration
  • Develop directed and constrained‑random tests and close functional and code coverage
  • Apply assertions and formal methods for control logic, CSR correctness, and CDC checks
  • Support post‑silicon bring‑up with debug data, test vectors, and documentation

Benefits

  • Choice of medical, dental and vision plans
  • Benefit programs that help protect your income if you are unable to work due to illness or injury
  • Paid family leave
  • Robust paid time-off program
  • Paid holidays
