About The Position

Oversee the CCS Design Studio and serve as the primary resource for residents selecting custom options and finishes for their apartment units. Deliver a personal, high-quality experience for every resident while providing superior customer care and support throughout the full design, renovation, and finish process.

Requirements

  • 3+ year in interior design or related field
  • Extensive interior design knowledge and a strong eye for detail
  • Personable, diplomatic, and able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and owners
  • Skilled at handling customer objections professionally and effectively
  • Ability to work well under pressure with strong independent decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate schedules and adapt quickly to changes
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Consult with incoming residents to guide them through selecting custom options and finished for their new residence.
  • Collaborate with current residents - whether transitioning to a new unit or updating their existing space - to identifying the right custom finish selections.
  • Work with owners to specify finishes for "Ready-to-Move" and model units.
  • Sell and order a full line of window coverings and coordinate field measurements and installation scheduling.
  • Monitor and evaluate all product offerings on a continuous basis to ensure selections remain current, competitive, and aligned with resident needs.
  • Provide support to the Design Studio Manager with meetings, scheduling and communication to achieve the goal of 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively communication with office and field staff to coordinate schedules and ensure a seamless experience for all residents.
  • Update design selections, software catalogs, and pricing on a continual basis to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Maintain organized records or all selections, orders and resident communications to support a smooth and efficient design process.
